Craps caluclator

Craps is one of the most thrilling and entertaining gambling games that has been played by people the world over since the Middle Age.

New people to the game of Craps can easily be intimidated by the board, with the large amount of numbers, terms and all the different types of bets that are available to you.

The truth is that it is actually a really easy game to follow and to play, and after a few minutes of practicing you should be more than ready for the real thing.

How the Craps Calculator works

The Craps Calculator allows you to work out all the odds and probabilities on the three different types of outcomes that can occur.

Firstly, you can work out the likelihood of resulting in the Come Out.

The second is on rolling a Natural, a Point or Craps on the Come Out.

The third is whether a Pass Line win, a Do not Pass win or a Push will be rolled on the Come Out.

How the Game Works

To get you started with a game of craps you begin with a come-out roll, this is the first roll of the dice of the game or the first one after the previous betting round is complete.

The player who throws the dice is known as the shooter. The shooter takes two dice and throws them onto the craps table, or if you are playing online then you would press the roll button.

Once the numbers of the dice are revealed there are three possible outcomes:

Option 1 - Natural

A Natural means that the result of your roll is either a 7 or an 11. When a natural happens the player wins and you get to roll the dice again.

Option 2 - Craps

Craps means you roll a 2 which is also known as the Snake Eyes, a 3 or a 12. When you finish with any of these three numbers you lose but the round is not over, and you get to roll again.

Option 3 - Point

Point means you roll a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. If you roll a point you need to roll the dice again and hope you’ll hit the same number again. You do not need to have the exact same combination of numbers, as long as the sum is the same and you will win.

The one missing number is a 7, if you throw a total of 7 you 'seven out' and lose and end the betting round.

The layout of the craps board allows for different betting options:

Pass line

One of the most common bets is placing a bet on the Pass Line. Players who place the Pass Line win when the dice roll 7 or 11 and lose when they land on 2, 3, or 12.

Don't pass line

Another popular option is the Don’t Pass Line. The Don’t Pass is exactly the opposite bet to the Pass line, losing if 7 or 11 are rolled in the come-out and winning in case of 2 or 3. Rolling a 12 is considered a push, therefore the bet neither loses nor wins.

Field

This is a one roll bet that can be made anytime in the game. If 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11 are revealed you win even money. If 2 or 12 are rolled, you’re paid 2 to 1.

Horn

This is a one roll bet that can be made anytime in the game. You’re betting that 2, 3, 11 or 12 will come up on the next roll. If one of them does, you win. the 3 and 11 pay 15 to 1; 2 and 12 pay 30 to 1. If none of those numbers comes up, you lose.

Come

This bet can be made after a point has been established. It’s an even-money bet with the same rules as a Pass Line bet.

Don't come

This bet can be made after a point has been established. It’s an even-money bet with the same rules as a Don’t Pass Line bet.

Any 7
